Terms & Conditions

Introduction

Our business is about transporting our clients, affording them the maximum amount of pleasure, comfort and safety at all times. We are proud to say that we are an extremely accommodating company and that it has never been our style to get involved in hundreds of rules and regulations but we always need to apply a bit of common sense and responsibility. To that end we have drawn up some ground rules which need to be observed for everybody’s benefit.

Additional Charges

Any additional hours over the agreed finishing time shown on the Booking Confirmation will be charged at £50 per hour or part thereof. Additional charges can be settled by cash or from the payment card used to make the booking but not by cheque. We cannot guarantee to extend the hire period on the night as we may have another confirmed booking but we shall always do our best to accommodate any additional requirements.

We shall make a £100.00 + VAT valet charge should any member of your party vomit in one of our vehicles. In addition we reserve the right to charge for any damage caused to a vehicle by your party. Interior items (screens etc) will be charged at the full replacement cost.

Cancellations

All bookings are confirmed by a non refundable deposit. In the event of cancellation by the hirer less than 14 days before the hire date the full payment will be due. Should a cancellation be made with more than 14 days’ notice for a good reason we shall do our best to work with you to reach an equitable solution.

Grace Period

We always allow plenty of time to reach each pick-up point but we cannot be held responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic jams or extreme weather conditions. Needless to say, we shall make every effort to get you to your venue on time. In the unlikely event of a mechanical breakdown we shall provide replacement transport but cannot be held liable for any consequential losses as a result.

Behaviour

We reserve the right to terminate a hire with immediate effect should any member of your party display aggressive or abusive behaviour. The standards that our clients keep are always extremely high so we don’t expect to exercise this right, otherwise we would be most reluctant to undertake such a hire in the first place. Termination of a hire in these circumstances would, of course, be without a refund. Smoking is not permitted in our vehicles at any time.

Vehicle Access

Unadopted, unmade, single track or width restriction roads can be a hazard for limousines. In addition we are constantly faced with city road and parking restrictions. This means that we cannot always pick up and drop off exactly where our clients require so we would ask that you are reasonable and understanding in these circumstances. We shall, of course, endeavour to do our best at all times to keep any inconvenience or disruption to your party to an absolute minimum.

Property

Personal property is carried at your own risk and we cannot accept responsibility for items left in a vehicle. Your party are advised to check that all personal belongings have been accounted for before you vacate your vehicle. The chauffeur will check the vehicle at the end of the hire and any items left will be returned as soon as possible.

White Gloves Limousines want you to enjoy your experience with us and we want to take great pleasure in looking after you. However we need to look after our vehicles so that we can always be proud to hire them out to our next client. Our Terms & Conditions have been designed to reflect this view.
